Great company. I have used them several times and have always been pleased. I do have a preferred tech which is Nick. He has been to my home several times, always wears shoe coverings, and is very friendly. I have had 3 faucets, 2 toilet resets, and a new line to the refrigerator installed. Customer service has always been friendly and worked around my schedule when I had new flooring installed. They scheduled to remove toilets and then came back the next day to reset them. I’m pretty picky and they did the job I wanted and didn’t try to oversell. I will use them to have a new sump pump installed when the time comes. They are reasonably priced and have always arrived on time. They are my go to company.

BEFORE (pedestal sink) IN PROCESS (other pictures) AFTER (vanity) went with discount drains despite the fact I couldn’t find many reviews about the company moving the plumbing drains for a renovation. They moved the plumbing from the right side wall to the center wall (around 5 feet of plumbing). Knowing I needed to patch the dry wall myself, they were kind enough to offer coming back to install the new vanity once I finished the dry wall. This was great because I didn’t have to try to figure it out after everything was installed because I would have no idea how to drywall once my new vanity and sink were put in. Definitely recommend!!!! They get you on the schedule quickly and will spend as much time needed to ensure a job well done.

Our experience with Andrew as he completed several plumbing projects for us was 5 stars all around. Andrew is quite possibly the most professional technician we’ve ever worked with. He was attentive to detail, communicated clearly, and cleaned up beautifully when he was done. We had been long time discount drains customers and experienced some growing pains when they first transitioned to Bassett, but this experience with Andrew was a delight!

They replaced the toilet wax ring while I was not home (wife found them). Job seemed to be okay but the tile near it appears to be somewhat cracked or more cracked--not gonna necessarily blame them for that. The main reason for my low rating is that the price was astronomical for a simple wax ring replacement. I would think $150 would be a high price to pay for convenience but they charged $390!!!! I've had entire toilets replaced with the a new wax ring for less than half that (not including toilet costs).

The first 2 pics are before and the last 3 are afterwards. We had our bathroom remodeled by Jeffery & Drew, they did a good job relocating our pipes and re installing our fixtures they were pleasantly polite.

Used Discount Drains to fix one toilet and a pedestal sink. The gentleman that came out was nice and he fixed the toilet. He worked on the sink, but never did get it completely fixed. The problem continuously kept happening with it. We have let this go for quite a while now assuming that it just wasn't fixable. Until recently I called a different plumbing company and they came right out and actually fixed it. Now it works perfectly and has been for the last couple weeks. Discount Drains price also was not a discount in any way. Our bill with them was more than double what we paid this other plumber (and this other plumber did two toilets and the sink). We will not be choosing discount drains again.

I really wanted to like this company. However when they replaced my hot water tank several months ago, unbeknownst to me, to make the new, larger unit fit, the tech shortened my washer drain. In doing so, the washer drain isn't tall enough anymore to properly drain, and there is a deeply curved 'trap', (that wasn't there before), that causes the water to rush back up and out of the drain. I had asked the tech at the time about all the 'left over' PVC pipe pieces, but he'd assured me it was from the old tank- when in fact it was actually my working washer drain that he'd removed and replaced with a shorter pipe, with a very curved 'trap'. He did this in order to make the new tank easier to install, or he simply didn't reassemble the drain properly after removing it to install the tank. The back of the washer/drain/hoses/etc. are all in a separate room than the front of the washer. It's accessed clear on the other side of the house through a tiny door next to the fridge in the kitchen. I've went in there once to change my furnace filter months ago. I noticed the concrete floor was a bit 'damp', so I put a damp-rid in the room and thought nothing more about it- bottom line, my washer has been draining into this small utility room and flooding for months! There is actually mold on one of the wall studs now! I'd noticed my new flooring warping near the furnace intake vent, but couldn't understand why. It's the only place in the house that my new flooring is warped, chipping. I know now it's from the water leaking under the furnace in the utility room and seeping under the laminate flooring! Am I stupid for not realizing this sooner- yes, I admit I am. Is Discount Drains responsible for their tech tampering with, and ruining my washer drain- yes, yes they are! As well as removal of the resulting mold and my warped flooring! I have contacted them, and I was told they are sending someone out to, "dispute the mold." Not a very courteous response at all! If they repair/replace the washer drain so it functions properly as it did before they ruined it, and address the mold they caused, I will remove this post, however if they refuse to repair the washer drain that their tech ruined, and clean/repair the mold, I will have no choice but to litigate for damages and will continue to strongly suggest not doing business with this company! I trusted them to do the job right. I'm super disappointed both in their workmanship and response to my issue!

Please avoid Bassett services at all cost. They are the worst company that you can ever possibly deal with. They installed my Electric wrong. I had ice cream that was melting told them that it had to be done today. They told me they were coming out that they would be here and then they turned back and said I’ll know we told you Monday This company is a sham I would stay completely await from this company They do not stand behind their work and then they give you the runaround. All you do is get a receptionist on the phone from some other state that you can’t talk to really a real person that can give you answers that you need so I’m having $4000 of ice cream that was spoiled today because they couldn’t do what they told me they were gonna do.
